Responsibilities:

• Track Inventory: Monitor and record inventory levels accurately to ensure accurate stock data.

• Manage Stock Levels: Ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand and avoid overstock or stockouts.

• Receive Shipments: Verify and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Organize Storage: Arrange inventory in the warehouse efficiently to maximize space and accessibility.

• Conduct Audits: Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

• Update Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.

• Identify Discrepancies: Spot and resolve discrepancies in inventory records to maintain accuracy.

• Forecast Demand: Predict future inventory needs based on historical sales data and market trends.

• Optimize Inventory: Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.

• Communicate with Suppliers: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.

• Prepare Reports: Generate detailed reports on inventory status, trends, and performance for management review.

• Manage Returns: Handle the return of defective or excess items and ensure proper documentation.

• Support Purchasing: Assist in the procurement process by providing accurate inventory data and insights.

• Implement Controls: Establish and enforce inventory control procedures to ensure efficient operations.

• Ensure Compliance: Ensure all inventory practices comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

• Handle Inquiries: Respond to internal inquiries about inventory status, availability, and issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

• High level of proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.

• Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in inventory management.
